THE MISSION

 The  Afro-Descendant Institute of Human Rights is a Non-Governmental Organization Post Secondary College. We offer various Human Rights Certificate Courses, Events, Projects, Webinars and Books.

  

  • The Afro-Descendant Institute of Human Rights (ADIHR) was formed in response to the exclusion of the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for the Afro-Descendants in the United States. 


  • ADIHR has configured  Human Rights courses. Democratic and Reparative projects pursuant to the mastery and t applications of human rights reparative law. 
  • The UN Human Rights Monitor and UN Human Rights Defender curriculum identifies and addresses these human rights failures as violations of a multitude of Human Rights treaties and then conducts the research needed to secure a path to Self Determination for the African Descendant people.

Our Mission

The Afro-Descendant  Institute of Human Rights is a Non-Governmental Human Rights Institute based in Atlanta, Georgia. 


The mission of the Institute is to provide Human Rights education while facilitating the Human Rights Democratization process for the African Descendant population in the USA.  


We will do this by providing training for Human Rights Defenders and Human Rights Monitors who will be capable to address human rights violations in Afro-Descendant communities across the USA

We train Human Rights Monitors and Lawyer Human Rights Defenders to up hold the rule of  laws, rules and  norms of a Democracy by facilitating the process of Self Determination and the formation of an Afro- Descendant Confederation within the USA.

Our Professors

Dr. Mustafa Ansari, Dean Afro-Descendant Institute of Human Rights and Chief Facilitator African Descendant Nation

Influential and experienced Political Science Professor with over eighteen years in experience of teaching at a collegiate level teaching with backgrounds in International Law, Criminal Justice, and Political Science. 


Dr. Ansari founded the formerly known American Institute of Human Rights In 2009 as  a research Institute and then formerly began teaching coursess and classes A published author and educator that strives to impart knowledge and promote learning from both inside and outside the classroom. Dedicated to the philosophy of education, utilizing various teaching methods to inspire students to think critically and objectively, pushing them to reach their highest potential and awareness of the world around them. 


Dr. Ansari is the creator of the AD certified  Human Rights Defender and 9  Human Rights Courses:

  • AD Human Rights Monitor: Self-Determination, National and Political Identity
  • AD  Human Rights Monitor:  Police Compliance Officer International Police Standards
  • AD Human Rights Monitor: Juvenile Correction 
  • AD  Human Rights Monitor-Adult Corrections 


 Dr. Ansari is an international Human Rights Lawyer and has worked on the Bosnian Genocide case,  the Case of Imam Jamil Al- Amin, and was the lead lawyer in the Decolonization Request in the UN Decolonization  Committee

 He also trains Lawyers on the incorporation of international law into American Law by Webinars.

He  personally  trains the Committee  Professor with the American Institute of Human Rights, which is currently facilitating the Confederation of AfroDescendants in the United States of America, as they seek a path to Self Determination via legal action, the UN and international laws.

Professor Elaina Porter M.A.

Elaina Porter is certified Human Rights Defender and educator who partners with other original peoples and grassroots organizations to advance human rights in the United States. After spending three years researching International Human Rights law under the guidance of Dr. Mustafa Ansari and Attorney, Musa Dan Fodio, Elaina has been instrumental in introducing and disseminating information to the community.  Elaina is the co-author of “The Process: From Civil Rights to Human Rights.” 

Elaina researched and wrote memoranda on a variety of African Descendant, Indigenous, Tribal, Civil litigation, and Restorative matters. Also, she has assisted in developing a methodology for protection of African Descendants’ right to develop in the United States using International Human Rights, Refugee, Decolonization, and Humanitarian Law. 


                EDUCATION:

Elaina certified as a Human Rights Defender in  December 2017. 


Associate Degree in Applied Technical Studies from Athens Technical College.


Bachelor of Arts, Interdisciplinary Studies from Grand Canyon University, 


Master of Science in Criminal Justice with an Emphasis in Law Enforcement from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona.
